Dr Justin Dabner
Justin has a distinguished academic and professional career having been the National Tax Director for both accounting firms Deloittes and Ernst and Young and having taught at various Australian Universities. His tax law specialisation has seen him engaged in both domestic and international research projects, the latter increasingly orientated towards Japan. This has led to a unique insight into the differences between Japanese and Western culture culminating in his appointment during 2012/13 as the Australian cultural professor at Tokyo University.
Leanne Malcolm
After retiring from a career as a professional ballerina Leanne held various roles in both the hospitality and administrative sectors. In particular, as Concierge and later front desk supervisor at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas during the heady days of the late 1980s Leanne acquired a skill set that embraces both assured customer satisfaction and precise attention to detail. Leanne has extensively travelled Japan over countless visits, including a 10 month residence in Tokyo. These experiences have given her an exceptional knowledge of Japan, especially the offbeat and quirky, and the ability to travel and negotiate the country like a local.
